Doesnt ring to my cell phone when someone calls the alternate number and way overpriced! Switch to Grasshopper and stop the madness.

The UI could use some tweaking but it gets the job done. Needs notification badges on icon options for missed calls and new voice mails.

Been using this for the last year or so. A lot of problems overall for anything but the most basic of functionality. Ongoing issues with the desktop component. Would never do it again.

Ive had 8 x 8 for approximately a year now and I find that its very hard to use, very unfriendly as far as managing phone numbers and responding to previous calls and forwarded calls To my cell. Theres no way to delete individual called from the call list without deleting all of them. At one time I could do this but based on some update I can no longer do this. Im looking around for something better that works for me. Bob Kingsland

This app really saves the day when I need to be out of the office. Can perform all functions that the desk phones can minus intercom. However you will need an LTE data connection or Wifi for the app to work reliably.

This company and application is fraudulent! They scam you into singing up only to have the most basic features (Call Log) cost extra! Dont do it! You will regret it. Id give them zero start in all honesty. Scammers

Hour on the phone with support after the latest update because of a busy signal and the app takes incoming calls. Finally. Decent sound quality on iPhone and iPad. Have to end cell calls first. I make sure to actually log out of the app to avoid calls going to my cell and the busy signal. So glad it finally works as it should.

Very convenient app! There are a lot of bugs that need to be fixed! You now have to physically log off of the app when not in use or you will still receive calls! There is a delay when receiving phone calls. Not being able to talk on your cellular phone and the answer a call coming into the app is frustrating!

The app performs its functions well, but it consistently notifies me that I have new activity when i dont. Previously I had to uninstall it when it made my phone vibrate nonstop.

The new update doesnt allow me to delete SMS and IM messages. Please bring this feature back.

I like this app a lot it allows we to be available wherever I am and still get connected to clients regardless the number they call. One thing I do not like or dont know how to fix, is when I get a phone call from my iPhone when I am on a call through 8x8 it automatically puts the 8x8 call on hold so I can answer the call on my iPhone. If there is a setting I need to set so that calls are forwarded to my voicemail when Im on the 8x8 call or if I have the option to take the call if need be without putting the caller on hold automatically. Putting the call on hold without notice does not work! Other then that I like it a lot!

The pros: it works well, but not great. Needs to implement the iOS 10 voip integration. The cons: It uses too much battery life, does not always stop ringing when answered from another location, and does not ring when app is terminated. It that it does not correctly leverage the iOS VOIP APIs. This results in inconsistent behavior in the various background states and unnecessary battery usage. For example, it seems to keep a network connection open all the time instead of relying on the iOS APIs that notify of incoming calls and allow the app to build its connection only when needed. The user interface could use some love from a designer. All of the functionality is available and useful. However the layout and structure do not seem to be designed to simplify workflows and make things intuitive. Hopefully, it will fix these issues will be fixed if they adopt many of the new VOIP features for iOS 10

For the price point absolutely the best value Inn phone systems available. Able to manage multiple phone lines for two different companies remotely. Website is easy to understand and technical support is superior. Great service all around.

sometimes last this year I think my clients had a hard time hearing me, but this year, the connection has improved a lot. Its a big help for me to be able to be reached anywhere I am, here or in Europe.

Calls ring through when the app is closed. Not in the background, but swipe-up closed. 8x8 claims this is a "function" on the support forums, its UNACCEPTABLE. If I made the VOIP decisions for my company 8x8 would be gone.

I love the ability to see the activity but the call quality is very poor. Multiple calls where my customers could not hear me. Will only use in a real pinch.

With a good WiFi connection, the voice quality from the iPhone and iPad apps is nearly as good as a desktop soft phone connection. Not quite as good as a wired, standard phone set connection with the same service (which is excellent), but feature-rich as mobile apps go. It allows me to "be in the office" on the phone without using cell time or revealing my cell phone number, and even to use the iPad in a pinch where theres WiFi, and my iPad has no cellular service. Now, the addition of SMS messaging means I can text clients without giving out my cell number. Still looking for a few features in the desktop client that seem obvious to me.

Great convenient app, but sticks to much. Runs slow for the most part when typing and sending IMs.
