It looks like our organization has found a system that works pretty good! We’ve been using it for about a year and a half, and it seems to be better than the other applications we’ve used. I don’t really see any issues with it at this point.

When on a call the call breaks up . Students keep asking can you repeat that because the call is breaking up .

Unstable and inconsistent connection

I have used 8x8 to reach out to customers for along time, through text message. 8x8 felt the need to ruin how easy that was on the phone application as well as computer browser. I can’t text a customer without their number being saved first then going to search for that. That’s a wasted feature.

I am happy with this platform because it allows me to work from home and it is easy to use.

I am blind and use voiceover in order to use my iPhone, and I use JAWS to use my computer. The iphone app is very confusing to use with voiceover. Also, the desktop app has many accessibility issues. I try to avoid using the iphone app, and use Google Voice whenever possible.

Complex system, difficult for small business to manage, would not recommend, frequent outages

Don’t you love it when a product does things you didn’t even expect. 8x8 is that product/service. I’ll never be tied to a desk again!

Call stayed connected but neither party could hear each other. With full WIFI signal at 2.4& 5.0 ghz the call will break up.

Calls are dropped all the time and it is constantly making my phone glitch out. If I didn’t have to have this for work I would delete it immediately.

Good product, like that you can have more than one attendant

I use it while on the road or away from my office. It offers the appearance that you are calling from your office not your cell or another location.

Been an 8x8 user for years . But this app is super unuseful lately . Glitchy is only word to describe it. Dropped calls, unable to use my Bluetooth device . I drop in and out of calls. The other person can hear me . Quite embarrassing honestly when speaking to clients. Don’t know how come it has gotten so bad. Use to work just okay which i was used to, but now it’s super bad.

I think I am having better luck with this app after some help from 8x8 technical support. They are fantastic and patient. Previously too many calls would not come through smoothly but now it works much better. Over time the product continues to improve.

I like the fact it works well on my iPhone

very patchy when using 8x8 over my cell phone - cuts in and out often and the phone app does not show a place to type in numbers for a call

The system is great because you can access the information from a desktop your cell phone or any electronic device. The chat option is an added bonus.

It serves our nonprofit well!

Often people can’t hear me and/or there are dead spots in the call. Also, sometimes the numbers selected are not the digits I actually hit: it will transpose them and select just random digits. I then have to close the app and restart it, although the problem comes back in following calls.

We have called you to fix our phones and it has been over a week without a solution. You are right now in the negative with me !

8x8 is user friendly and the reps are very helpful and knowledgeable!

I like the option to have 8x8 on my cell phone so desk calls can come through on my cell.

This is the review that I was originally going to post BEFORE the great texting debacle … “ Easy to use. Great at updating and notifying about maintenance ahead of time. It’s a great product that I would definitely recommend.” We have done everything to comply with this new and very sudden change, but for some reason, our campaign is still pending, and I cannot send out text messages which are essential to our business. Until this, this program has been great, but now it has made it so much harder to communicate with our clients, and that’s bad for business, bad for customer service.

Has everything you want and need for a phone system text, fax, video, recording and inter office transfer that is easy to use!

8x8 has a great bundle of features. I have our business with 10 phones, 5 in California and the other 5 in Washington state plus a FAX on OBI300s at each location. Easy to change things like how many rings before calls go to voice mail. Backup transfers if the Internet goes down so we don’t miss a call. Yesterday, I added an extra extension to our ring group for extra coverage, then took it out when we didn’t need the extra coverage. Voice Mail with the beta voice-to-text is a big plus too. I especially like using the 8x8 APP on my smart phone and using the feature to switch the call from my desk phone to my cell phone and back. Initially setting up the system was a bit difficult, but once I got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. Thanks 8x8
